jlumen | No snow...yet?

While I was dreaming of a light winter wonderland, instead we got rain, cold, rain, more cold, a brief glimpse of sun and then back into freezing temps at night. However there's word a small winter storm might come our way this weekend. Here's to hoping it bring flurries and not half-frozen awfulness.

I felt a little bad because I told EJ if he was good, it would snow. He was better but not great, I mean ok for a toddler; and I remind myself he probably won't remember this. I did apologize to him in case I got his hopes up. Not sure if that makes me a good mom or a wacky one. *shrugs*

Our 3 day weekend went by entirely too fast. I did manage to donate a few things, which will help in the redecorating of the house. Lot easier to move things around when there's less stuff. I think one good session will get one of my bookshelves fully reclaimed. I'm unsure if I will keep all these bookshelves that mom had. She probably had 1000 books and it's taken me a long time to get to a place to donate them.

I hassle old me for using lyrics as post titles in my Livejournal back in the day, but one of the hardest parts is coming up with a title when my posts feel like a series of very unconnected thoughts. The thing I'm telling myself is just to keep writing, surely it has to get better? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy posting and reading other people's post quite a bit! I just wish my writing wasn't quite so... bleh.

Might be a bit cranky from not having a full night's sleep last nite.
